Growing up, one of my favourite activities was to go through magazines and cut out anything that interested me. My goal was always to glue everything together and make a collage. That never happened. I never got past the “cutting out pictures process.” I spent hours and always ended up with a pile (or mess, as my mom would say) of cut out inspirational things and photos.

I gotta admit, I love shooting engagements just as much as weddings. I always come home from them so inspired and energized. Nothing beats photographing a couple in love for me. I know winter technically just began, but I so want to fast-forward through all this rain and go back to those golden, warm, sunny evenings. Or at least we could get some pretty snow, right?

Merry Christmas with Tiger

In tradition with last year, and unfortunately for Tiger, I found a hat that fit her this year. Again, proudly sponsored by her favourite Purina Chicken Luv Cat Treats ;) Thanks for cooperating sweetie! Believe it or not, she was purring.. most of the time :)

Any one else dress up their pets for Christmas? I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and holidays! I’m off to make some chocolate truffles with Jason now :)

Christa & John | Langley Maternity Photography

The colourful leaves are gone now, but we were lucky to catch the last of them for Christa and John’s maternity shoot. Christa contacted me after seeing the photos from Justin & Lorene’s maternity shoot last fall. They are both outdoorsy people and so we met at the beautiful Campbell Valley Park in Langley. It was absolutely freezing! I was looking ridiculous wearing TWO winter coats, so major props to Christa for looking super cute in her skirt and boots! They are having twins in February and waiting to find out if they are having girls, boys or both! Thanks for having me take your photos, you’re such a lovely, sweet couple! :)
