So much to love about this wedding. I knew Michelle and Jordan’s wedding would be awesome back when I first met them and when we did their engagement session. I was particularly pumped that they were set on doing a “First Look” on their wedding day.. a sweet, intimate moment between just the two of them with us stepping back and capturing all the excitement, hugs, kisses and tears.
We started off the day at Michelle’s mom’s house and the girl’s arrived all ready to get dressed. I loved doing their getting ready photos at her home, so many great moments with the entire family together. A couple new personal favourites now.. Michelle’s pose for some deodorant and dramatic photo-bombing dad ;)
We did their first look and following photos at Derby Reach Heritage Site in Langley. LOVE the barn there. We had a refreshing frappuccino pit stop at Starbucks (actually, all the groomsmen walked the opposite way for Tim’s ha) before heading off to the ceremony at St. Cuthbert’s Anglican Church in Delta. A special place as Jordan was baptized there and his parent’s were married there as well. We had a bit of time to kill after the ceremony (another reason to love first looks) so we made a little stop at Jordan’s parent’s home for a break and they happened to have a beautiful field where we did a few more photos. Their beautifully decorated, rustic-chic reception was held at Bradner Hall in Abbotsford it was an absolute blast. Thanks so much for sharing your day with me :)
