I started this wedding season where I ended off last years, at the amazing Saar Bank Farm in Abbotsford. We had absolute downpour for Kayla and Evan’s wedding day so they held their ceremony indoors. Quite the opposite of their engagement session we did a month prior in May. But how much better of a backup location can you get than a beautiful rustic barn?
We started off photographing the guys at Evan’s home, then met up with the girls getting ready at the Sandman Hotel before the ceremony. We did a few photos at the Saar Bank Farm and the rest of their photos at some barns that Megan, her country lovin’ bridesmaid knew of. I just love cows (everything country really), so I’m happy they joined us for some photos ;) The turquoise barn windows for the seating chart, were actually from the half torn down barn we did some portraits in. Kayla, her girls, and family did an amazing job planning and decorating the barn with so many details. Thanks so much for having me document your day!
